Deutsche Mittelstandsfinanz (www.dmfin.com) acted as exclusive M&A advisor to the shareholders of frobese GmbH, Hanover, on the sale of their shares to Data Respons AS, Høvik, Norway, a subsidiary of the Belgian-French IT group AKKA Technologies SE.

frobese GmbH is a leading IT service provider for banks and insurance companies in Northern Germany. The company's core competencies include software development, business intelligence, IT expert consulting and the organisation, rollout and operation of complex IT infrastructures. With its subsidiary frobese IT AKADEMIE GmbH, frobese boasts its own human resources development company.

 Data Respons provides R&D engineering services, software and hardware development, and smart embedded IoT solutions for a wide range of industries. With 1,400 employees, Data Respons generates a turnover of approximately €200 m. Since 2020, Data Respons has been part of AKKA Technologies SE (22,000 employees, €1.8 bn turnover), listed on EURONEXT Paris.   

Through the acquisition of frobese GmbH, the fast-growing Data Respons AS is expanding its activities in the area of IT consulting for financial services companies.
