Deutsche Mittelstandsfinanz, Frankfurt, Germany, has exclusively advised Feick Landtechnik GmbH & Co. KG, Reinheim near Darmstadt, as M&A advisor on the sale of its business operations to the CLAAS Group from Harsewinkel, Germany.
Founded in 1948, Feick Landtechnik is one of the leading providers of agricultural machinery in southern Hesse, with sales of more than €10 million.
CLAAS is a family business founded in 1913 and one of the world’s leading manufacturers of agricultural engineering equipment, with sales of €4.9 billion and more than 12,000 employees.
CLAAS will continue to operate the acquired business under the Feick Landtechnik brand. The acquisition of Feick Landtechnik will enable CLAAS to significantly expand its market position in the Odenwald and Palatinate regions, which are strongly influenced by agriculture.
Integration into the CLAAS Group will enable Feick Landtechnik to grow even more successfully in the future than it already has. In the course of the transaction, CLAAS has taken over all the employees of Feick Landtechnik and concluded a long-term lease agreement for the company property in Reinheim.
