DMF Capital GmbH, Frankfurt, Germany, has acquired a 16.7% stake in AllGoTec GmbH of Wertach in the Allgäu region, as part of a capital increase. AllGoTec is a technological leader in the field of e-mobility for motorcycles and microcars.

AllGoTec GmbH 2021 was founded by a team led by Richard Schalber, the former development and operations manager of the BMW motorcycles Paris–Dakar team, which won the Paris–Dakar Rally twice. Richard Schalber is himself a multiple title winner in enduro racing.

AllGoTec has a high-voltage drive system in the 10–35 kW power range, boasting a patented replaceable battery system. Thanks to its modularity, the low-weight electric drive system can be used in motorcycles, mopeds, motor scooters or microcars regardless of model.

AllGoTec is already successfully using its electric drive system in an electric motorcycle it developed, for which it is seeing high demand.

AllGoTec's target market is the more than 50 million motorcycles, scooters and microcars (such as municipal vehicles, trikes, etc.) produced annually worldwide, a large proportion of which are converting to electric drives. This gives AllGoTec an exceptionally fast-growing niche.

In addition, AllGoTec holds a patent for an integrated planetary gear in the electric motor, which leads to significant weight and space savings in the electric drive.

Prior to founding AllGoTec, Richard Schalber did development work for BMW motorcycles, Porsche, Bentley, Suzuki and Continental, among others.

DMF Capital’s investment builds the foundation for introducing the AllGoTec technology to the market on an industrial scale in the future, together with a strategic partner.
